What praline is
Praline smells of caramelised nuts and sugar, with a sweet, roasted, buttery and slightly creamy gourmand character, much like a confectioner's nut paste. Perfumers place praline in the base, where it adds a rich, confectionery sweetness. It blends with vanilla, caramel, coffee, cocoa, tonka bean, sandalwood and musk, and gives edible warmth to gourmand and amber structures, and sits well beside salty or smoky notes.
